We had fun thrifting!
Well at first I was a little discouraged with the trifting around here, but my mom and I have had a lot of fun this week! We have found some great little furniture pieces and this adorable little piece I only paid 5o cents for ! She is going to sit in the new kitchen!

ReplyDeleteLOL to answer your question on the art doll hat ~ firstly it is not as big as it looks. I followed the link with the intstuctions on Amy's blog about how to make them as I did it from scratch using cardboard. I just cut a circle from a hat box as a template and used about a third of it then hot glued it to itself. It's a little fiddly but doesn't matter if the tip doesn't join up properly because you snip it anyway to add your doll in the gap. For the tussie mussie though I did use a party hat, much easier that's for sure!!!
