Vanessa's Halloween Party!

The wonderful, beautiful and magical Miss Vanessa is hosting a wonderful Halloween soiree today in blogland! Be sure not to miss it, she throws the best parties! Because I am sort of in limbo I thought it might be okay to re-post a couple of my favorite things from last year.

My kids and I had a great time making a Halloween tree. This is just a couple of branches that were vitims of Fall pruning that I tied together and spray painted silver then stuck in a pot with a couple of bricks for support.

Then the kids and I made loads of ornaments. We hope to do this again next year.

This is a fun tradition my kids love. Every year I add new pictures of them in their Halloween costumes. It is lots of fun to see how they have changed and remember all the fun we have had with other costumes.

Now go eat some candy over at Vanessa's and have a wonderful Halloween this year!

What fun, cute picture frames. I love the tree. What a fun tradition. I love to decorate with pictures of the kids in their halloween costumes as well! They are so fun and cute and it is amazing to see how much they grow and change in just a year.

It's so nice to have you back here and talk on the phone. I hope and pray you are not in limbo for long! :)

Did you make those spiders. Cool! I made a hatching spider egg sack and a haunted house last year. Come and see them when you get a chance.

Cute tree. Last year I went all out and decorated an huge 6' Halloween tree (yes, I had that many little Halloween bits and bobs!) The kids and grandkids loved it but now everyone wants it again. Oops. Note to self - set lower decorating standards. LOL

What some great fall pics I love taking pics of the kids in their costumes although mine are all just about to old for trick-or-treating my youngest(12) is planning on dressing up as Elvis this year I kinda figure this will be his last year of dressing up as next year he will probably be to cool for it. Sure makes me sad to know another holiday fun time will be gone with my kids. But they all grow up so I can only enjoy them while I can. love the halloween tree! so cute. Hope you have a great week. blessings, karen
