Green is my New Favorite Color!

Oh wonder of wonders, the day finally came this weekend when this guy pulled up with his magic carrier of wonderful greenness. Otherwise known as the sod guy. I cannot tell you how excited I was for this day to finally arrive. Right after the guy pulled away in his magic truck William and I got busy laying the gorgeous green stuff. We could not wait. By afternoon my brains were thoroughly cooked but the front yard was done. Luckily reinforcements arrived in the evening to finish the rest. There is no way we could have done it, we were too pooped! Here are the results:Before After

Insta-yard. Honestly some of the best money we have ever spent. Of course the great end result is completely a result of my wonderful husbands hard work all summer. The sod guy said he had never seen such a well prepared yard. Thanks William. And thanks to all of our helpers that saved us, especially my dad. Man that guy can work!

Wahoo! It is so nice to have grass put in. (We lived a year without it, so I know.)

Why am I not surprised that William prepared the yard so meticulously? Good job! It looks fantastic! I was so happy to see the complete family there to support us this morning. Thanks so much for being there. I was eyeing the cinnamon rolls during the prayer, trying to figure out which one had the most frosting. They were a big hit!

It looks great! So glad you finally have some grass. It will really keep the dust and dirt down from inside your house. Best part, your kids will want to go outside more often. So happy for you. Hope you have a happy holiday weekend.

It was great to see you in person today. Your yard looks beautiful. I also love the pic arrangement. They both look great! I vote for either. I know that isn't much help, but still. I'm just proud of you for taking that on. It is more than I have done.

Now it is time to sit back and watch the grass grow at least for a couple of days!! William did a great job and deserves every accolade that come his way!! May the green be with you always!
