Paper Temple

My niece was baptised yesterday so I thought I would try a little different gift. I saw this on Studio 5 a few weeks ago and put my own spin on it. It is made from a dictionary page which I traced a temple shape onto and then cut out. I also chalked the edges to make it stand out more.

Great frame. Did it come like that or did you paint it?
Turned out quite well.
Pres Kimball said every child should have a temple picture. What a great idea!

You are a master. I've been looking at ideas like this for a few months now. I found this little gem

http://www.etsy.com/listing/59419490/you-are-my-sunshine-printed-on-old-page?ga_search_query=you%2Bare%2Bmy%2Bsunshine&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5202442

and fell in love with it. The only problem is that it is 5x7 and I wanted an 8x10. I love what the artist is doing with the paper. Check out her other items. It may inspire you to try your hand at a few more. I'll have to keep my eye out for a larger size that would work for what I have in mind.
