Anybody want to buy a house?!!

I cannot believe I am typing this but we are moving! After many months of deliberation and investigation we will be moving our crew of five from lovely Utah to sunny California! Okay, those of you family and friends who have known me since childhood, pick yourselves off the floor from the shock. Yes, it is true we are going on an adventure and for the girl who has never lived out of the state or lived more than 60 mile from my mother and sister this is HUGE! Hubby starts a new job in San Leandro July 9 and we hope to all be there before school starts the end of August. We are looking at houses in Livermore, both of these cities are in the Bay area. We went out to check it out and I tried really hard to hate it, but it was just too lovely. So I have spent the last week cleaning and boxing up extra clutter, really not fun. But my mom and sister must still love me as they were huge helpers. So if I blog a little less often you will know why. And if anyone has any encouraging words about the Bay area they will be greatly appreciated!

I'd love to buy it Michelle but I'd say a move for me THAT far would be out of the question! Wow that's exciting and scary at the same time isn't it! Gosh I haven't moved more than one mile, no exaggeration, from when I was born, three homes one street away from each other, 10 mins walk, I would be so scared to move interstate! The bay area sounds delightful!!! Post us some pics if you can!

You are going to go and have grand adventures and I am going to be sad. Circe just called. She is sad. :(

I was a hometown girl like you who went off and lived far away from my family for almost ten years! I'm back now, but cherish the time and friends I made while living in VA. It will be fine...you'll see.

yay congratulations!

sorry in advance for the crazy shift in cost of living. You are paying for amazing weather all year and it's an investment more valuable than you realize until you live in it!

Can't wait to hang out sometime!
