Favorite Chrismas Books
This is one of my newer Christmas favorites. It is about a little polar bear who drops through a hole and visits Santa. The illustrations are just amazing. Bright and colorful and sooo detailed! I could just look at each page over and over.

And this is one of my old favorites. This is one I remember from my childhood. My mom is a librarian so she would bring this one home and I would love looking at it. Same sort of illustrations, bright and very detailed. I own this one too and still love reading it to my kids.

I try to add a new book or two every year. What is your favorite children's Christmas book?

My all-time favorite is the one where Little Bear smells Christmas. It's a scratch and sniff. I could go get it to see what the actual title is, but I think you all know the one I mean! The one I grew up with stopped smelling, so my brother gave me a new one a couple of years ago. Such a thoughtful gift! Circe

Hello Michelle! Thought I would come and visit and see what you are doing and to wish you a very Merry Christmas! I loved reading all about your TG and shopping ideas! My favorite Christmas book is Great Joy by Kate DiCamillo (she wrote the Tale of Despereau. I also read Olive the Other Reindeer to my students each year and make reindeer food to sprinkle on their lawn Christmas Eve. Hope yours is MERRY! Love and Blessings, Katie

Hi Michelle! Golda's drama teacher said she had the best ringlets, and it's because I followed the Clytie instructions. First, the hair has to be dry when you roll it. I dipped my fingers in a little bit of water, though, to roll each one. The I squirted mousse on each one before rolling it. I think that helps with hold. I left them in overnight, which I think is a must. You probably know all this...it was my first time, so I'm kindof impressed that it worked. What is Brittany in the Nutcracker? I wish I could see her! She's so fun to watch! She's a natural onstage. Circe

I haven't read either of those and I am always looking to add to my collection. My favorite is Christmas Trolls by Jan Brett.

Suave mousse in the pink can. Good luck! Do you have to rat the curls like Clytie's angels do? I hope not! Circ
