We are here!!!
Yes folks I am back! It was a pretty intense couple of weeks there. Let's just let pictures explain. The first picture is of our old living room after a crew of movers and my amazing mother had at it. You would not believe those movers, I have never experienced this before so I thought it was great, like having magicians pack for you. And my mother, I am telling you the woman should rent out, except it would kill her off. She cleaned like a mad woman and my house had never looked better. Now the new house, oh boy. Well look for yourself. This is the living room after about three days of unpacking. Obviously the living room is pretty far down in priorities. Just in case you wondered that couch should be going the other direction but there isn't room to turn it around yet. But hey, the kids rooms are pretty well put together and the kitchen is too so we will get there eventually. The calvalry is coming in a couple of weeks in the form of that same amazing mother so hopefully we will eventually become cute again. I hope this isn't too boring, we probably won't be too crafty around here for awhile but I will probably be posting some house stuff to get your great opinions on. It sounds a little silly but I missed you guys! My kids were talking about imaginary friends today and they thought I should get one too and I told they I didn't need to because I always think of my blog friends as my imaginary friends! So hello again!

welcome to CA! i love all the light shining in thru the windows!!

yea, I was told before I came it was SO GREEN but it's been all yellow save for a couple of weeks when it rained. I thought it was strange, too.

I hope you have great neighbors.

The only thing worse than moving is moving in the rain. Glad that part is over and the fun decorating can begin :)

I want you to put up a picture from every angle when you get this room finished. It is going to be sooo beautiful. You are one lucky girl who gets to have "real" furiture. I never saw that cabinet. It is just lovely! I can't wait to see all the rooms when you get them done. I, for one am not bored. I can't come over and see it, so don't be stingy with the pictures. I love the pink tree above. That is my kind of tree. My girlfriend Shawna went on a trip to Mexico and they had trees and some kind of bush that was like that too... everywhere and she said that the fushia pink blossoms would fall on the ground and the grounds keepers had to rake them into huge piles everywhere. It sounded like heaven. I hope you have similar piles of pink where you are! :) Is everyone being nice while you unpack I hope. Say "Hi" for me to all the kidos. :)

Welcome to California! I'm not sure where you are, but it sounds like you're in the Bay Area. I'm just down a bit in Monterey.

In any case, welcome! I hope you like it here! :)
