How was your Valentine's Day?
This pretty flower was blooming inour yard and I just had to bring it in!
Of course we needed cupcakes for the kids.
And a big ole german chocolate cake for the Dad. And I must say, for a gluten-fee cake, it turned out quit yummy.

And this was one of my better ideas. Instead of having valentines floating around the house for weeks we used contact paper and the kids made them into placemats. Joshua just had to be in the picture too, if you look closely you can see the evidence of how he enjoyed Valentine's Day!
Our Oma and Opa are coming to visit this week so I may not be in blogland quite as much as usual!

We had a wind storm the other night and it blew the car door into his poor little head and knocked him right on his bum! It changes colors everyday!

Bonjour Michelle! Your rose & pink and fushia colored pictures are beautiful! Your idea of the placemat a grrreat one! And your nesting dolls adorable! Hey, you have been busy! I am sorry I have been so quiet but I have been ill, probably from too much stress attacking me at the same time! I am getting back to normal now, my dad is also doing much better. And... we are going to Mexico in a little more than 5 weeks!!!! I am so excited! Keep up with the great art! Take care, LuLu

Hi Michelle!

Thank you for taking a look at my blog, I really appreciate it! As I told Sarah, I do feel like I am just talking to myself! Anyway your blog is fabulous as well, and if you wouldn't mind I would love some of those delicious looking cupcakes, as a 'starving' college student those couldn't look better! Thank you again for stopping by!
