Finishing the kitchen

Well, I am still working on lots of things around here. After getting our first power bill last week(Ouch!), I decided to make a curtain to try and keep some of the morning sun from coming in the sliding glass door. I couldn't find one large enough so this is two sewn together and then I cut them apart and added the black stripe. I am just not quite sure if the stripe is too wide. I think I will still line it to keep even more light out. My mom made me three darling tablecloths when she came, they were just a little too long so needed just a little alteration. She also gave me the cute layers, doesn't my table look cute now! Thanks Mom!
